Share Our Strength: No Kid Hungry Update

Our April Fundraiser for New Members to benefit Share Our Strength netted 31 new members to our group.  Thank you to all of those who participated!  The Parents Insight Network has donated $5 for each new member for a total of $155.  This donation will:

• Help connect two children with nutritious meals for the entire summer when school is out 
• And help provide 25 grocery bags of healthy foods to families at food banks

Learning Touch First Words: Best Toddler App Ever??

Okay, so I haven't tried ALL of the toddler apps out there but I've sure tested my fair share, and even paid more for some than I would like to admit out of sheer desperation (say, during a long car trip or in the doctor's office, as two examples).  First Words is awesome.  I am amazed that I can hand this to Owen (age 3) and minutes later he is cheerfully spelling, C-A-T and ordering the letters appropriately.   What does he need me for?

The developers need some feedback!  They are adding new categories to their "First Words" app and want to know which categories are most important to real moms and dads.  Follow this link to answer the one question poll, and you'll be entered to win one of five promo codes to download the app (normally $4.99) for free!  And on Wednesday only, all of the Learning Touch apps will be on sale for $.99.
